Supporting local Economy is one the easiest  ways to being Green Less carbon emissions from vehicles, less fuel used and less  trucking goods across the country. The food we eat every day travels an average  of 1500 miles before it reaches our plate. We should all try to be more  proactive and make more positive changes. All small changes count when we act as
"One People".

Compost how to video

A little bit of work is well worth it.
"Black Gold" as it's called has so many nutrients for your soil and plants.
There is no need for chemicals to make plants grow. All the plant foods that
contain chemicals actually kill the roots, end up in our food and leach through
the ground to eventually end up in our water supply. Composting is a great Eco
friendly way to feed your plants and your lawn and also keep food from ending up
in landfills as well as chemicals out of our homes. The following link will give
directions on how to make your own composter.

Recycle
Buying 100%  post consumer waste products is the best, but remember to complete the
loop..send it back to be recycled again. Most paper can be recycled many times.
Aluminum and steel are infinitely recyclable. If every household bought just one
4 pack of 100% recycled paper towels, we would save 8.3 million trees.
Did  you know it takes 3 quarts of oil to make 1 laser jet ink cartridge but these
can be recycled to use over and over again? This would save some 25 million ink
cartridges that end up in a landfill each month.
Priority # 1 would be to decide if its truly needed to begin with.Thats the best way to
recycle.
